Tractor gearbox maintenance knowledge

1. After each shift of work, the fastening of the gearbox related components shall be checked. If there is any looseness, it shall be tightened in time.

2. After every 100 hours of operation, unscrew the fuel cap on the transmission cover and check the oil level with the oil level gauge. The oil level should be between the upper and lower lines of the oil level ruler. When measuring, the tractor should be in a horizontal position. When the amount of oil is insufficient, it should be added in time.

3, gearbox oil for gear oil, pay attention to maintaining the clean gear oil, oil should not have mechanical impurities, otherwise it will accelerate the gear wear. When refueling, pay attention to the cleanliness of the refueling tool and filling port.

4. The gear box should be cleaned and the gear oil should be replaced every 500 hours of tractor operation. Note that gear oils of different specifications should be used in different seasons, winter gear oil in winter, and summer gear oil in summer.

5. Regularly inspect the seals and integrity of the oil seals and liners at various locations and replace them if necessary. When replacing, the thickness of the linerboard should be the same as the original thickness to ensure the correct axial clearance.
