Volvo Construction Equipment recently introduced an E-Series wheel loader. The L50E is a true all-rounder for applications such as municipal construction, road facilities, ports, sawmills, and construction sites. The joining of L50E has enabled the E-series family to achieve a great reunion.
The new Volvo L50E wheel loader will debut at the Bauma trade fair in Munich in April 2004. This model is powered by Volvo's latest inline four-cylinder D4DLAE2 diesel engine, capable of delivering 101 horsepower at 2200 rpm and meeting Class 2 emission requirements.
New low-emission engines achieve high torque at low speeds, which improves performance and reduces fuel consumption.
Hydraulically driven, electronically controlled cooling fans are only activated when needed, thus reducing fuel consumption.
The intelligent, high-power load-sensing hydraulic system used by the L50E delivers the required amount of hydraulic oil only when needed, making it easy to provide powerful power.
The rear axle bracket is lubricated for life, thus reducing routine maintenance time. Other improvements include standard fuel filters with water separators and hot oil collectors, helping to reduce maintenance time.
Compared with the previous models, the L50E's internal and external noise levels are further reduced. The internal noise level is reduced by 3dB (A), providing the operator with a quieter and more comfortable operating environment.
In addition to these key features, the L50E also inherits the advantages of other E-series models, such as the Volvo Care Cab for operator comfort, convenience, an efficient cab filter system, Contronic electronic monitoring systems, and Volvo's own design. Externally mounted shafts, oil circulating wet disc brakes, non-slip surfaces on all steps and platforms, and accessible service and maintenance locations.
